HLITOA Board & Members
Membership to the Holy Land Incoming Tour Operators Association (HLITOA) is open to Palestinian companies working within the sector of incoming tourism, travel and pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The HLITOA Board of Members is democratically elected from within the organization, with board members serving a two-year term of office with delegated responsibilities. The last election was held in 2014.
Currently, 48 Palestinian companies working in the field of incoming Holy Land tourism are HLITOA members. Members must be fully-licensed tour operators in good standing with the governmental agency responsible for legislation and regulation in their community or place of business. Members commit themselves to HLITOA on an annual basis through attendance of membership dues, meetings, participation in public and group activities, and personal adherence to the highest possible ethical and professional standards of the tourism industry.
